In fact, we supported him more than we already were and even tried to shift the blame off of him.<BR/><BR/>after the first gulf war, and before the second, for a portion of this time "we" had put severe economic sanctions on Iraq, causing an artificial famine that resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands (more likely hundreds of thousands) of Iraqi children.<BR/><BR/>Coincidencially those economic sanctions are one of the biggest reasons why no majority population of any country in the world feared Saddam right before the second war, excluding the US. This includes countries next to him some of which he invaded or attacked. You see, there is no evidence Saddam had WMDs, and it wasnt likely considering the sanctions on his country had absolutely devastated him.<BR/><BR/>Now, I realize that you will dismiss my above comments as.. well, probably insane, and I accept this. I have no intention of debating you, or changing your mind, or even plainly insulting you.
